Victoria & Albert’s freestanding bathtubs and basins are individually hand-polished in South Africa and crafted from their exclusive Volcanic Limestone™—a naturally durable, pure white stone ideal for bathroom fixtures. This unique material gives each piece its luminous finish and enduring strength, offering up to 3x the strength of other solid surface materials. Sculptural by design, every bath and basin is created to transform the bathroom into a serene, sophisticated sanctuary.

A Multitude of Possibilities

Victoria & Albert offers bespoke exterior finishes for their freestanding bathtubs and basins, available in a curated selection of matte or gloss RAL colours, exclusive to the brand. Whether used to complement an existing palette or serve as the foundation of a design, these custom hues add a refined, personal touch. Each finish is applied in multiple layers using a specially formulated catalyzed paint, then meticulously hand-polished between coats to achieve exceptional depth and richness. More resilient than traditional hand-painted surfaces, these finishes transform each bath into a true statement of luxury.
